About the Item

A beautiful and most unique Italian 19th century Renaissance St. wrought iron chandelier. The four arm chandelier is centered by an elegant curved diamond shaped pendant below the exceptional pierced bottom tier with the same shape when seen from below with wonderful pierced scrolled foliate designs flanked by C shaped designs. The C shaped designs each display two scrolled arms with striking floral candle cups and center the impressive pierced central plaque with additional decorative scrolled foliate designs with a superb family crest, cabochon, and remarkable dragon silhouettes. Two spiral twisted wrought iron supports lead upwards tied to hooks with additional family crest and cabochon designs centering a spike all below the beautiful foliate top crown. All original rich patina throughout.
