Modernist Pagoda Chandelier in Chrome & Handblown Murano White and Blue Discs

About the Item

This stunning modernist pagoda style chandelier was realized in Murano, Italy- the island off the coast of Venice renowned for centuries for its superlative glass production. It features a pagoda style form that is widest at its midsection, and tapers towards its apex and nadir. It offers an abundance of handblown Murano discs in alternating hues of opaque white and sapphire blue with translucent surrounds. The discs are affixed to a lustrous chrome body, and attach to the domed convex canopy (also in polished chrome) via chain. With its sophisticated color palate and clean modernist lines, this chandelier would be a winning addition to any style of interior from classic Mid Century Modern to contemporary. It has been newly rewired to American standards and is in excellent vintage condition. The height can be adjusted to suit. The chandelier accommodates 6 edison based bulbs offering up to 600 watts of light.
