About the Item
Florian Schultz, stunning hand crafted messing floor lamp. This beautiful patinated floor lamp has a heavy slate base where the brass lamp rod is beautifully draped at. The organic, fluent shape of this lamp resembles an elegant flower, evoking the beauty of the stunning Art Nouveau period. Although this association to the Art Nouveau period is evident, the lamp is timeless and blends perfectly in every tasteful and elegant interior.
Florian Schulz (1946–2019, Germany) completed an apprenticeship as a metal sculptor in the family craft business. However, over time, he concentrated more on designing residential lighting made of brass. His drive and inspiration came from the possibilities of working with brass and his ambition to create timeless, functional lighting that would illuminate living spaces in the best possible way.
With this, he left behind a unique collection that combined the highest craftsmanship with timeless design and contemporary technology.
You need to have the lamp checked by an electrician because of age and fit with the local electricity requirements. It fits European standard.
