Sistema Flu a Post Modern Floor Lamp design by Rodolfo Bonetto for Luci Italia

About the Item

"Sistema Flu" is a magical lamp, and every time we find one in some corner of Italy we buy it to offer it to our customers. In this case we have 2 pieces of the tallest model, 180cm of twin floor lamps that will make you feel like Anakin Skywalker when he decides to use the Jar'Kai fighting technique with 2 lightsabers. Designed in the 80s by Rodolfo Bonetto, designer of many iconic pieces of Italian design such as the Boomerang armchair for B-Line, the Melania chair for Driade and the Lipstick Mirror, it was awarded the Compasso d'Oro award 8 times. The "Sistema Flu" lighting system is designed to bring light to every part of the house with a complete system that has different solutions and sizes: chandelier, table lamp and floor lamp. " Each of these models is perfect because this lighting project works in every size and model, combining function and playfulness. Two adjustable arms start from a black metal body with a triangular section which hold and repair the two lamps. This project was created during the 80s so it used neon lamps but we completely rewired the electrical system by a professional so as to be able to use LED technology, which is more ecological and with lamps that are easier to find than neon which is now almost out of production. The two arms of these Post Modern floor lamps are not only adjustable up to 180 degrees but also allow you to direct the light by rotating the part containing the lamps 360 degrees. I imagine this pair of floor lamps in a minimal home, with a few right pieces that stand out on walls with rough concrete resin finishes or in a Tecno Club. The floor lamps have been rewired by a professional and the LEDs are included in the price. One of the floor lamps is missing caps in the lower part of the arms, although it is not visible we would like to inform customers. one of the bases has traces of glue, probably from an old repair. The price refers to the single Floor Lamp

"Half Moon" Floor Lamp designed by Bruno Gecchelin for Skypper, Italy, 1970s
By Bruno Gecchelin
Located in Roma, IT
A slim and elegant floor lamp, designed in 1970 by Bruno Gecchelin for Skypper. The advent of the halogen lamp has revolutionized lighting not only in a technical sense but also in style. The power of the halogen lamp with the possibility of being dimmed has reduced the overall dimensions of the lamps; many bulbs or large light diffusers were no longer needed, therefore the shapes become thinner as in our "Mezza Luna" floor lamp. The 500w halogen lamp is contained in an orientable half-moon in white metal thin and light as a paper origami...
