Swedish Art Nouveau Gooseneck Walnut Floor Lamp With Table

About the Item

This elegant Swedish floor lamp is a piece of design history, having been crafted in the Art Nouveau style sometime in the 1940's. Its gently curved 'gooseneck' is evocative of that of a flower stem, which is further emphasized by the scalloped fabric shade. This lamp has been made with beautiful walnut veneer on the base and table. The table is a convenient special feature of this lamp, allowing one to use the piece for both illumination and as a small surface space to place drinks or accessories. The body of the lamp is wrapped in cord, giving a small rustic vibe to the overall appearance of the lamp. This lamp has a European plug and requires an adapter or rewiring for use in the US.
