About the Item
Beautiful and striking flush mount ceiling light that dates to the 1930s, and features a beautifully hand-painted glass shade with geometric ornamentation. The tapered, cylindrical shape is crafted from custard-yellow opaline glass and decorated with bold linear and circular motifs in muted tones of burnt orange, sage green, and ochre.
Its unique decoration and warm coloring are paired with a polished chrome canopy, offering a stylish contrast between soft decorative flourishes and a sleek metal structure. This compact ceiling fixture works especially well where its understated elegance, soft illumination, and historic charm will stand out. The light is designed and made in Sweden. The lamp is fully working and in good vintage condition. It is fitted with one E27 bulb holder (works in the US) and carries a max wattage of 60.
