Large Midcentury Modern Black & White Glass Flush Mount / Jazz Age Pendant Light

About the Item

Rare and great looking, two-light, jazz age flush mount. This very stylish and large size midcentury light fixture with the unique black and white design is another one of our recent great finds. Both with the light switched on and off this fine work of lighting art from the 1950s is a joy to behold. For it to have stood the test of time in such excellent condition makes it extra appealing for there is not a single crack or chip to be seen. When we looked at this light fixture for the first time we could immediately see it mounted in a cool midcentury apartment, but also in a contemporary shop or modern art gallery. In the rooms where we shot the photos there are many items around and there is daylight entering from one side as well. This caused a large amount of reflections in the shade that may be seen as imperfections. Let it be said again that this unique shade truly is in mint condition. With two sockets behind the large glass shade you can always create the right light for a perfect atmosphere. Thanks to the metal hook inside the height adjustable canopy this light fixture also is very easy (and safely) mounted tight to your ceiling and over your junction box. Mind you, this eyecatcher is rewired to the highest standard for safe and immediate usage in the USA as well and you will be able to use two of your regular American E26 bulbs of up to 80 watts each (this very handsome light will also take LED bulbs). Mind you, our fair price even includes perfect packing (in a custom made box) and also worldwide shipping from our store to your door in just 4 to 5 days. Diameter x height: 22.3 x 6.7 inches.
