French Bronze Six-Light Lantern with Foliage Décor from the Turn of the Century

About the Item

This French circular lantern consists of six new authentic wax candle sleeves attached by the cups and holders to metal strips connecting the two-ring bronze frame. Both rings have received carved twisted details enhanced by each glowing bulb, and a glass plate covers the piece underneath. Six leafy scrolling arms join the similarly leafy canopy from which hangs the chain and new wiring. This French bronze lantern from the early 20th century, with its elegant carved details and foliage, would create an enchanting atmosphere and become the focal point of any room. It has been wired for the US and is ready to be hung.
