Rare Garden Find from Our Recent Japanese Acquisitions Travels In the manner of Frank Lloyd Wright and the Prairie School. Japan, a handsome and tall Mid-Century Modern bronze metal garden lamp. This 69" tall lamp is perched on a tripod base and comes complete with its original round top, firebox grill and original white glass globe, total 4 pieces. Signed metal label. Dimensions: 69 inches tall and round light box metal top is 16.5 inches diameter wide; tripod feet are 34" apart. Period: early Showa period Good quality crafted from bronze alloy metal sheet with round roof and original glass globe by Japanese specialized garden accessories artisans nearly 70 years ago. Remarkable survivor, In tact and with a weathered patina. Suitable for candles, oil lamps, or may be re wired for electrical installation and display. Provenance: Old Japanese Kyoto collection.
