19th Century Bronze Gilt Sconce with Four Candle Arms, Acanthus Leaves, Rosettes

About the Item

The craftsmanship and the construction cause this neoclassical sconce to speak volumes. It has the most beautiful gilt finish and makes an absolutely stunning appearance once installed. The Louis XV style gilt cast metal figural wall sconce is from the 19th Century. The four-light sconce featuring a nude female figure against an acanthus back, four scrolled arms terminating in pierced foliate candles and an elongated base with acanthus decoration. It is unmarked Dimensions: the four light sconce measures 22 x 17 x 9 1/2 inches CONDITION: This is in generally good condition with some rubbing and variation to patina.
