Contemporary Italian Design pair of organic light fixtures with the versatility to be used either as sconces hung vertically or horizontally or as flush mount ceiling lights.
They consist of two Murano glass half moon curved elements, in a sophisticated light terracotta / brown gray smoked tint, separated by a receded brass mount, part of the handmade supporting brass structure. The glass is elegantly and elaborately decorated with a textured pattern in the manner of Gio Ponti. This technique, allowing shadows to show through the decor, confers a unique glowing effect and enhances the texture. The lights are open at both ends and the design ends in a decorative tiered step outward curve.
Each sconce is fitted with two Edison sockets.
Customizable also in other finishes.

In 2015 we gave new life to glass from a 1950s ceiling fixture salvaged from the once magnificent Hotel Bristol in Meran, Italy upon the remaining components of the light fixtures and reengineered it with an entirely new metalware frame based on Led technology. The original gilt melted glass laces were carefully interwoven once again and cast into a more contemporary shape. In one of the pictures you can see one of the original lights by Flavio Poli with a brass frame whereas there have been many versions from the same glass pieces in the hotel. One light has already made its way to NYC and has been installed in an apartment there (see pictures). This is a unique opportunity to acquire one of the last remaining historical Poli glass pieces from the glamorous hotel Bristol as well as simply possessing a beautiful and large flush light, suited for a variety of different rooms and spaces.

Contemporary Italian Design pair of organic light fixtures with the versatility to be used either as sconces hung vertically or horizontally or as flush mount ceiling lights.
They consist of two Murano glass half moon curved elements, in a sophisticated light terracotta / brown gray smoked tint, separated by a receded brass mount, part of the handmade supporting brass structure. The glass is elegantly and elaborately decorated with a textured pattern in the manner of Gio Ponti. This technique, allowing shadows to show through the decor, confers a unique glowing effect and enhances the texture. The lights are open at both ends and the design ends in a decorative tiered step outward curve.
Each sconce is fitted with two Edison sockets.
Customizable also in other finishes.
