Set of Four French Early 19th Century Charles X Period Sconces

About the Item

An outstanding and high quality complete set of four French early 19th century Charles X period patinated verdigris bronze and ormolu four arm sconces stamped 'BN', circa 1825. Each sconce has a richly chased patinated verdigris bronze back plate with acanthus leaf movements, and a fine decorative ormolu plate below. The patinated arm leads to the ormolu center support with foliate chasing below one central arm and three S scrolled arm with scrolled rinceau patterns and ormolu bobeches. All original gilt and patina throughout.
