Danish Modern Ball Shaped Ceramic Table Lamp with Circle Decor by Heerwagen 1970
About the Item
Danish Modern ball shaped ceramic table lamp by ceramists Karin and Erling Heerwagen, made 1974.
The shape of the lamp is echoed in the decor which shows circles and part of circles in black and white glaze on the beige colored clay. The look of the lamp changes from different angles.
The couple Karin and Erling Heerwagen ran their ceramic studio from the late 1960s until 2021. It was situated on the island Langeland.
Marked on bottom: E-K Heerwagen, Danmark 1974
Included is a new lampshade designed and made in Denmark. It is made of woven fabric with some texture and is off white. It has a top cover so it will spread a cosy light downwards.

Height including lampshade: 54,5 cm (21.46") (height can be adjusted)
Height without socket (ceramic base only): 19 cm (7.48")
Diameter base: 20 cm (7.87")
Diameter lampshade: 28 cm (11.02")
Lightbulb: For type E26/E27 Edison screw-fitting.
