French 19th Century Louis XVI St. Ormolu And White Carrara Marble Candelabra Lam
About the Item
A stunning and high quality French 19th century Louis XVI st. Ormolu and white Carrara marble candelabra lamps. Each striking candelabra is supported by three ball feet below an Ormolu base plate which holds a white Carrara marble cylindrical pedestal with two fine Ormolu beaded bands. Above is a richly chased circular Ormolu socle which supports the charming white Carrara marble urn above. The urn is flanked by a pair of pierced "S" scrolled Ormolu handles that extend up on each side, and all below the Ormolu rim. Above the rim is a level of scrolled foliage below the stunning spray of the three branches filled with additional foliage and blossoming flowers. All three branches lead to the wonderfully decorative candle cups in the shape of various flowers.
