The idea of marble and glass in the same piece makes this lamp worth a second and even third look. Light gray, tan and a white background on this Chinese influenced export lamp makes a strong design statement. This lamp does well in a pastel-themed room or against a strong color palette. It is enameled and hexagonal. The baluster shape Chinese export lamp was created for the Western market in the mid-20th Century.
It is hexagonal shape with a pinched neck and tapered body. The allover white glaze with parcel gilt and tan decorative elements end in the hexagonal ebonized foot.
This lamp is 34 inches tall overall and without condition issues. The cord is standard for the U.S., and the piece is ready for installation.
