Mario Botta for Artemide, 'Shogun' table lamp, metal, Italy, designed in 1986. 2000s production. Mario Botta referred to lamps as “people”. He said “Shogun is a person. He has a head, body and feet, plus he has a navel.” The designer is known for his use of geometric forms throughout his designs. Also the “Shogun” table lamp convinces in shape and bicolored design. A stem with black and white stripes holds a lightbulb that is surrounded by two curved shades. The white metal shade is perforated with small, rectangular gaps that create a wonderful play of shadows. Two handles allow the user to change the shade it their angle. In excellent condition with minimal expected signs of age. Fully functional. We try our best to accurately depict any imperfections on our photos. We offer premium worldwide shipping with tracking and insurance included in all shipping options. All shipping costs are automatically calculated during the checkout process, once the quantity and destination has been selected. Due to custom packaging, shipping for combined orders is not always automatically calculated correctly. Please contact us for shipping quotes for combined orders, or proceed to order the items after which we will issue a partial refund if the shipping was overpaid. 100% insurance included in the shipping price. All of our packages are insured or guaranteed for by us, provided that any proof of damage is delivered to us within 3 days of delivery. Any visible damages on the package must be photographed upon delivery or the insurance policy might not be valid. POSTAL SHIPPING / EMS SHIPPING Most of our items (chairs, armchairs, sofa modules, lamps, coffee tables etc.) are packed in packages up to 31,5kg / 70x70x100cm or equivalent and shipped as premium international air packages or EMS packages through the international state shipping carriers. The packages are delivered locally by the domestic postal carrier of the recipient’s country. Approximate delivery times for postal packages (based on year 2023.) - USA / Canada = 7-15 business days after dispatch - Asia / Middle East = 10-18 business days after dispatch - EU/EEA = 5-10 business days after dispatch If the order has not been delivered within 60 days from the dispatch date, a full refund for the shipping is issued. If the order has not been delivered within 90 days from the dispatch date, a full refund for the order is issued. Based on the years 2021.-2023., only one package per 650 packages is lost in transit (0,0015%). FREIGHT SHIPPING All oversized items that cannot be shipped or disassembled to ship in parts up to 31,5kg / 70x70x100cm or equivalent (sofas, seating sets, bigger sofa modules, beds, closets and larger storage cabinets etc.) air shipped via air freight shipping (overseas) or road freight shipping (EU/EEA). All freight shipping options include curbside delivery with package unloading. Additional services such as In-house/white glove delivery or disposal of the shipping materials can sometimes be arranged on demand and at an additional charge. Approximate delivery times for freight packages (based on year 2023.) - Air freight shipping: 3-5 business days, delivery is scheduled with the import agent - Road freight shipping (EU/EEA) – 2-8 business days, delivery day is announced prior to delivery.
