Rare hand-crafted miniature chalet table lamp.
This enchanting table lamp is a rare mid-century piece, handcrafted in the form of a miniature house. Constructed from delicate translucent faux glass panels set in a brass framework, the lamp features intricate architectural details including a pitched roof, balcony, open door, and staircase. When lit, it casts a warm, diffused glow that highlights the iridescent texture of the faux glass.
Very good vintage condition with minor patina consistent with age. Fully functional. The back panel opens to access the bulb socket. Light traces of oxidation and natural imperfections in the panels add to its charm.
This lamp exemplifies a unique blend of folk craftsmanship and whimsical design. It would make a striking accent in any eclectic, bohemian, or mid-century interior.
