About the Item
Shelter table light created by Ango, takes as its starting point the elemental and universal form of a loosely woven nest-like home, which is then incarnated by light diffused through many metres of lateral coloured filament.
Each colour in recycled plastic waste material from SCGP is sourced from a very particular type of discarded consumer product container. Slight variations in colour are utilised by the Ango artisans to enhance the unique random weave of the diffuser.
Lighting pieces in this series create a feeling of warmth and sophistication, that is achieved through material advancement first, then coupled with a very human artisanship process.
