About the Item
Sculptural lamp by French artist Albert Tormos. Made of Luberon limestone, the sculpture houses a lighting system whose bulb remains invisible and that shines its slightly blonde color.
Albert Tormos is a French artist who died in 1982 and set up his studio in Saint-Tropez in the 70s and 80s. His lamps are made of local stone, a slightly blond limestone, sometimes zoomorphic or anthropomorphic, sometimes geometric. By hiding the decking system within the sculpture, he plays with light and creates poetic objects.
The lamp in excellent condition with hardly any slight signs of wear due to its age. The artist’s signature is present under the base.
