About the Item
Table lamp created by Tue Poulsen (Denmark). Made 1970-80s in Tue Poulsen´s own studio.
The lamp base is made of chamotte clay and decorated with stripes in brown-beige earth colors. The chamotte clay gives a natural and living surface.
Tue Poulsen is a ceramic artist born in 1939. He works in his gallery and studio in Fårevejle, in the east of Zealand, Denmark. He creates sculptures and vases, lamps and other earthenware.
Poulsen has also designed pieces for Stogo (1963, 1976), Torben Orskov (1963), lamps for Domus Danica (1970), furniture for Westnova (1973) and ceramics for Knabstrup (1973).
The lamp is signed under the base (TUE for Tue Poulsen).
It comes with a new lampshade. The lamp has been re-electrified.
It works on 110V and 220V. E26/E27 socket. The EU plug can be replaced by an US version free of charge.
