The Stiffel lamp is eggshell color and ovoid shape. The contrast of the burnished brass and the light tan porcelain is beautiful. The circumference of the lamp is decorated with two green stripes. But a standout feature of this American classic is the tiger eye base. Stunning. There is a light tan glazing on the porcelain and the palette is neutral and versatile in a number of design plans. This Stiffel lamp was manufactured in America between 1925 and 1950.
The measurements are 33 inches tall, 8 inches wide and deep.

The vases have the traditional pear-shaped bodies raised on slightly spreading feet, the waisted and flaring necks applied with two C-shaped dragon handles suspending large fixed rings, covered overall with a bluish-green glaze thinning to white at the edges and around the moulded peony scroll decoration.

History and Design
Made in porcelain with raised moulded decoration under celadon glaze, and traditionally referred to as the Longquan ware, the design of these vases dates back to the 10th–14th century. Large Palshus table lamp made in chamotte clay stoneware with checkered pattern on the low part of the body in shades of brown. The lamp is signed by incising in the bottom and has model # DL26/1 and is in very good condition with no chips, marks or repairs.
Per Linnemann (1912-1999)
was the son of Danish sculptor Willie Wulff. Later he took the name of his stepfather Schmidt. Per entered the Royal Academy of Arts in Copenhagen in 1931 and worked as a sculptor, when he was between 30 and 40 years old, specializing in portraits. In 1949 he opened Palhus Stenøj (sandstone) with his wife Annelise Linnemann-Schmidt (born Sprechler). They settled in a house to work and live there. This was located in Sengeløse outside of Copenhagen. Per created and his wife ran their business. The items were sold in the Den Permanente department store in Copenhagen.
