19th Century Giltwood Overmantel Mirror
About the Item
19th century giltwood overmantel mirror, circa 1835 William IV period. Large proportion frame with three barley twist columns with detailed foliage design at the top edges. Mirror contains original mercury glass plate with some foxing and dark spots, some scratches typical for this age. Mirror is made by John Hay carver and gilder from Aberdeen Scotland.
