Magnificent late 18th-Early 19th Century Baroque Style Trumeau Mirror In green paint with gilt details. A carved top with a surround with paintted scenes of a castle, lake and figures on shore. A lower shaped mirror frame carved and gilt.
Dimensions: H. 83", W. 53", Depth 3 1/2"
Condition: Please see detail photos.While some level of restoration may be desired, the Mirror presents in a colorful Antique manner. The Mirror is distressed and timeworn. There is age-related buckling and losses to trim (shown in photos), losses to paint, separation of the canvas from the frame, darkening with age to the painted scene however the Mirror still retains a timeworn magnificence.
