About the Item

This parcel gilt and walnut veneered pair seem rather English in feel although this type of mirror is typically French. Also these most unusual martial trophies are something we have not seen before. They are reverse painted on a shaded green ground directly on glass. The silver leaf mirror plates are pleasingly murkey.
