DESCRIPTION: SECOND EDITION. 1 vol., (xii)493pp. 5-3/4" x 3-5/8", translated by William Udall, with the engraved frontispiece and additional engraved title-page with views of Edinburgh and London by William Marshall, complete, bound in dark green polished morocco, ribbed gilt decorated spine, covers triple ruled in gilt, gilt dentelle, all edges gilt, marbled pastedowns and endpapers.
CONDITION: Inner and outer hinges fine, head and foot of spine fine.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Chiefly an abridged translation of "Annales rerum Anglicarum et Hibernicarum regnante Elizabetha" by Camden, selecting just the passages about Mary, Queen of Scots.
