DESCRIPTION: FIRST AND ONLY EDITION. 1 vol., 8-7/8" x 4-5/8", 96pp., 2 wood cut portraits, original printed gray paper wrappers, original stitching, spine chipped and mostly lacking. CONDITION: Internally clean and bright, still A GOOD COPY. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: One of a small number of Southern McDade entries. "Phillips, scion of a 'good' Virginia family, twenty-four years old, murdered his wife Emily, who was ten years older, on a Henrico County, Virginia, roadside near Drinker's farm. He shot her with a small pistol, and her body was unidentified for three months." McDade 747.
