The original green pictorial cloth cover with a scene showing Old Tom Morris and another golfer playing on the links of St Andrews. Gilt title to spine with illustration of crossed clubs and ball, publisher's icon and illustration of crossed clubs and balls on rear cover. The book with all twenty-seven illustrations (Mr George Glennie, page 96 loose as is page 194, monument to 'Young Tom') including frontispiece with tissue guard, 'Tom Driving Off - Fore'.
