19th C Handheld Muffin Bell Town Crier Fire Alarm Bell
About the Item
Rare 19th C handheld muffin bell town crier fire alarm bell. The bell features two Brass domes mounted back to back with iron, a turned wood handle, and a brass ring. The bell was commonly used as a fire alarm to alert the town. Usually two Criers would use them to alert the town folks. The bell works great and the sound is very loud. Rare and collectible.
