Polychrome dish commemorating Benjamin Franklin’s Discovery of Electricity by L De Boynes Benjamin Franklin one of the founding fathers of the USA and a very brilliant scientist In 1752 he conducted his famous kite experiment. In order to show that lightning was electricity, he flew a kite during a thunderstorm, he tied a metal key to the kite string to conduct the electricity. This very rare dish is a commemorative piece of the bicentennial of this experiment The dish has no chips or cracks It is 8” x 6” x 2” high TPG77.
