German Globe circa 1900 with Compass

About the Item

A beautiful, old earth globe with a compass. A particularly beautiful piece with a straight stand and wooden base with embedded compass. "Mang's new earth globe", comes from the Stuttgart publishing house Adolf Mang (1849-1933) and was manufactured in the beginning of the 20th century. The product is in a good and functional condition for over 100 years. However, the earth map is already heavily sanded in some places - see product photos.
