18th Century miniature bronze gilt cabinet with underglass paintings 18th Century gilt Bronze Miniature, Gold Sewing tools Cabinet A 18th Century bronze gilded miniature cabinet, sewing cabinet with painted scenes on reverse glass in the doors. The legs are in Rococo style and are fully floral decorated This Museum piece is a sewing cabinet with a golden sewing set in the top of the cabinet with lid. The golden sewing kit in holder is Hall marked and dated 1750-1756 Paris, France. In the lower part of the miniature cabinet, there are 2 drawers of wood, finished with mother-of-pearl with 2 doors, which close. The lid of the miniature secretaire has a connection with a chain, so that it can hang. (A wire wrapped around it to keep it straight) The original key is present. The lid on top does close and the key turns, but the eye in the lid is broken. The measurements are 29.5 cm high, 23 cm wide and the depth is 14 cm (11.6 inch high) The weight is 2849 grams
