About the Item
Antique Weber grand piano, circa 1880s. Made of Rosewood with Baroque and Rococo styling. An elaborate case with serpentine trim, acanthus foliate and scrolling detail. The piano is supported by robust cabriole legs with scrolled feet. Each leg is intricately carved in baroque manner with acanthus foliate, C scrolled accents and medallions. The removable music stands showcases pierced fretwork centered by a harp or lyre surrounded by scrolling foliate and flowers. This design is further elaborated into the foot pedal with a figure lyre shape highlighted by Delphin figures. Soundboard, Keys and Hammers all appear to be in good shape. Serial number 16445.
