Selected Saints Russian Tempera Icon 19th Century Masterwork Yaroslavl school

About the Item

Presumably Yaroslavl school, late 1800s. Exceptional painting quality, gemstone-based paints give the icon an outstanding appearance. From left to right: Reverend Anna, Great Martyr Catherine of Alexandria, Nikephoros I of Constantinople, Basil the Great (central Figure), Theodore Stratelates, Mary of Egypt, John of Rila (Bulgarian). Antique Russian tempera Icon. Size app.: 31.3 cm x 27.2 cm (roughly 12.3 x 10.7 in), 23 mm (roughly 0.9 in) thick. Very Good ready to hang condition, with little amount of retouches (see UV-lit pic). Please study high-res pictures for cosmetic condition! In person actual painting may appear darker or brighter than in our pictures, strictly depending on sufficient light in your environment. Weight of app. 1.3 kg is going to measure some 3 kg volume weight packed for shipment.
