Beautiful 1950s Columbus terrestrial globe. Scale 1:48,000,000.
Produced by Columbus Verlag Paul Oestergaard K.G. Berlin and Stuttgart.
Base made of shiny walnut wood. The globe is made of bakelite. The axle is metal.
The globe is in very good original condition.
Only a small abrasion at one spot measuring 2.5 x 0.7 cm. You can see it clearly in photo 10.
Rotates great on the axle.
No damage to the globe. The coating is very well preserved. Everything is easy to read.
The foot looks like new. No damages.
100% original condition.
Fits any interior style. Suitable for all living areas and very decorative.
