French Empire Neoclassical Wallpaper Screen Attributed to Zuber

About the Item

Fantastic French four-panel wallpaper screen attributed to Zuber and cie featuring pair of Empire style neoclassical scenes with grand tour style themes. Mounted on masonite board in the early 20th century and set in lacquered wood frames with a complimentary moss green color. The reverse side has dark striped patterns over a beige ground paper. The screen has a beautifully aged patina on the finish as an 18th century original Zuber print.
