About the Item
French Aubusson dressing screen or room divider, carved wood construction (not plaster) with very fine floral and shell motif, a few small losses but intact and sturdy. Antique Aubusson panels outfitted to the front, center shows some staining at top, though from first inspection it appears to be an intentional part of the motif.
Back is covered in a light red. Wood frame is gold gilt.
