About the Item
Wooden room divider, partition, made with a pair of antique window shutters used at Kominka (old traditional style house) in Nara pref., Japan. It's new finds from the lumber dearer's house, used at their own home.
Yoshino Sugi cedar is a well-known, the area's specialty premium wood, beautiful straight grains are deepened by age, only comes from a quality Sugi Cedar.
The structural parts are made of the thick lumbers, it's still tough enough for actual use.
