About the Item

She was the friend and the sponsor of many artists, including Modigliani, Picasso, Jean Cocteau and Soutine, who made her portrait now kept at the Metropolitan Museum in New York. Original and whimsical, she revolutionized the world of decoration, creating the style Castaing which is now a reference. She was the mentor of Jacques Grange.
