About the Item

A very decorative 19th century painted cast iron stick stand or umbrella stand featuring a typical Irish folk figure holding his shillelagh. The bottom of the stand has a lift out drip tray with casting marks to the underside. With registration numbers on the back of drip tray and Ireland embossed on the base. The quality and condition are both excellent and the casting is first class. The dimensions are: Height: 75cm (29.5in) Width: 41cm (16.1in) Depth: 21cm (8.3in)
