About the Item

This is a semi mechanical Tela di Seta fabric, similar to a shot taffeta. It is woven on an original loom from the 1850s. The Tela di Seta fabric belongs to the Antico Setificio Fiorentino archives. This fabric can be used for light upholstery such as ottomans, drapery and pillows. The two colored stripes give a graphic effect with a bit of depth. Its structure is similar to taffeta but much less shiny and the linen composition gives a heavy body to this fabric. Art. TSL Tela di Seta Q/R Trama 140/2 Design: Dis.03 Color: Col.01 Composition: 33% Silk - 67% Linen Width: 120 cm. Weight: 297 gr. Please note this product is dry clean only.
