Antique Victorian paisley shawl - extra large size - fine multi color jacquard weave paisley pattern with two central medallions - patterned border ends - self woven edges and borders on the long sides - 100% wool - unsigned - Scotland - circa 1850's. Excellent antique condition - fringe and border loss to both ends - tear on one side (as photographed) - couple of minor holes - no apparent repairs or restoration - signs of age and use. Size/Dimensions - Extra Large - 128 1/2" (326.4 cm.) x 61" (155 cm.).
