Attractive and very colorful Caucasian rug created in the Karachov region featuring three octagon shaped medallions,two in pale green and the middle one with ivory ground.Within each of these medallions there are smaller medallions and other ornaments most notably each one of them contain two beautiful trees of life.This rug offers a delightful range of colors like light blue,pale orange,brown,green among others.The rug is surrounded with a brown field border also decorated with smaller octagons in variety of vibrant colors and two guard borders with “S” design. There are also two cute dogs woven at one end and two goats in the middle. This rug is in great shape with wear in some areas but full pile in most of the rug and has two repairs with reinforcement in its back not visible on the face.Dyes are organic without any doubt and all sides and ends are original.Estimated time to hand knot this runner is about 1250 hours.
