About the Item

Old Caucasian Chelaberd Kazak double medallion rug. A good Kazak rug of the well known Chelaberd design, also known as Eagle Kazak rugs. These rugs are from the Karabagh region of the South West Caucasus. This example is a later variation of the design and an ideal furnishing rug. The rug is in excellent condition with very slight wear and good pile. Hand washed and ready for use or display. The rug is suitable for normal domestic.
