This antique Tibetan tiger rug is rare and collectible. This rug is made of very soft, silky wool and is in good condition given its age. Some small areas of discoloration and wear, as seen in the photographs. In person this rug has a lot of mojo. Handmade in Tibet, in the early 20th century, circa 1920-30s.
This antique tiger rug comes from Joseph Carini's personal collection. Throughout his travels around the world, Carini has curated a collection of fine and rare vintage textiles and rugs.
