Construction: Belfast & Berlin designs are made of 100% bamboo silk. Bern, Beja, and Bactra designs are made of 100% tencel. Bamboo silk and tencel are good cost-effective alternatives to silk. Bamboo silk and tencel are good alternatives to viscose, because they are resilient towards water spills and foot traffic. Barri designs are hand-knotted with 100% wool. Wool contains lanolin, an inherent stain repellent.
Treatment: Bonn collection rugs respond well to Fiber-Seal, in case of dramatic scenarios, such as red wine spills on light color rugs. Stain treatment is not necessary, only an extra precaution.
Cleaning: Spot clean spills and stains with baby wipes, dish soap foam, or seltzer water. Vacuum regularly. Avoid using a beater-brush vacuum. Do not use in-house furniture cleaning services for cleaning area rugs. Send to professional rug cleaner, only if necessary. Quality, hand-made rugs are meant to be low maintenance.
Installation: Area rug options are available in virtually any size. Additional wall-to-wall installation options available, with some width and orientation restrictions.
Performance: Bonn collection rugs perform well in high traffic residential settings, offset corporate and hotel settings, and offset public areas. Our hand-loom rugs are well-constructed and resilient.

Woven Concepts
Woven Concepts has a lineage dating back to Silk Road merchants. That precious history is woven into their signature handmade collections of floor and wall coverings. The boutique rug company was founded by three women in the Hakimian family: Sheida, Halleh and Jasmine. Together with a team of expert artisans, they produce high-end rugs and support social and environmental initiatives.
To make their collections distinctive, Woven Concepts assigns one team of weavers to each, inviting them to amplify their unique approaches and ideas. The result are diversely beautiful rugs ranging from the otherworldly NASA-inspired Odyssey collection to the minimalist, luxe aesthetic of the Bonn collection. A special artist-designer collaboration with Design Milk founder and designer Jaime Derringer generated the UnTitled collection, which draws from Shodo calligraphy to create Japanese-inspired patterns.
Woven Concepts has worked on major interior projects around the world, including commercial, residential, corporate and hospitality spaces. The offices of Wells Fargo in Washington, DC, and New York City; Mitsubishi in Newark, New Jersey; and AMC Networks in New York City are among their prestigious clientele. Lobbies for the Ritz Carlton and suites at the Langham Hotel and Waldorf Astoria in New York City also feature their designs.
