An unusual one-of-a-kind hand-knotted "Tulu" rug from Turkey with a niche or archway design. Measures: 3.3 x 5.5 ft. These charming small rugs with lustrous wool pile were produced for daily use by nomads and villagers in Central Anatolia until the 1970s. Today they are considered collectible items as each one is one of a kind and representing a diminishing form of textile and tribal art. We can also reproduce this rug or any other handmade rug of your choice in custom sizes and colors.
