About the Item
This kellegi (long rug) employs two and a half hexagonal medallions each enclosing rosette wreaths. In red, dark blue and green, on an ecru and orange-rust strongly abrashed ground, all in the Bergama manner. Split triangle lateral fillers. Main border of stars and smooth leaves on darkest blue; flip-flop palmettes on pale blue and carnations on rust in the two other borders.
