Small carpets, well-knotted in Persianate styles, were popular products of both Kaisary and Sivas in Eastern Turkey. This rug features a close all-over pattern of palmettes, leaves, cloud bands and serrated leaves, touched in medium blue on the cream ground. Light blue palmette and leaf border.
