Vintage Distressed Oushak Carpet
About the Item
Oversized center medallion with stepped contour enveloped by minor buds, buffered by suggested shadow medallions delineated by interconnected vinery, and halved reciprocating medallions at either opposing end of the main. Colors and shades include: Sky blue, pale cinnabar red, brick red, powder blue and more. Condition notes: Even wear across to knot heads. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. For processing purposes, this and other rugs of the type may have painted numbers on the reverse side. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Turkish Oushak carpet made in Turkey circa 1970's vintage. Size measures 6'1" x 10'.
