53093 Vintage Turkish Oushak rug, 04'04 x 07'07. With its modern style, incredible detail and texture, this hand knotted vintage Turkish Oushak rug is a captivating vision of woven beauty. The eye-catching geometric design and earthy colorway woven into this piece work together creating a truly one-of-a-kind look. A column of connected hooked medallions run along the middle of the composition. Each lozenge medallion features a small rosette in the center surrounded by a ring of floral fertility symbols. It is enclosed with a double border comprised of repeating S-hooks and fertility motifs while the inner guard border’s delicate floral design adds a touch of grace to the composition. Though deceptively simple, this vintage Oushak rug is steeped in Anatolian history. Perfect for a long entry or foyer, bedroom, guest room, study, studio, home office or library, kitchen, mudroom, den, alcove, billiards room, clubhouse, wide hallway, corridor, or walk-in closet. It would also make a lovely accent next to a buffet in a dining room or behind the sofa table in the living room.
